We were missing about 7 participants at Saturdays meet for various reasons; however, the 18 students who did attend represented our school well. There were 17 schools in attendance.
All of the participants gave their best performance to date.
Following are those who scored in the superior range.

The team had to take the loss of some points due to dropping events when people were unable to attend, but all in all, we are thrilled with our results and very proud of how the kids represented our school

Our next, and final meet, is March 18th at WSC.dis
District Speech Meet Results

I am proud to report that we had an excellent day yesterday. Although we didn't have any qualify for the state tournament, we did receive the most superior rankings that we've ever received at a district meet and considering that all but 2 of the 21 students we took yesterday had ever done speech before, that is pretty amazing. Here's the run down of all of superior performances:

Cade Lee Entertainment
Sage Primeaux Persuasive
Josh Miles Entertainment
Stuart Snake Extemporaneous
Matthew Painter Poetry
Jacob Bear and Rohahehs Aldrich Duet Acting

Honorable mention for being "one point away from superior"
Isabel Earth Extemporaneous
Alex Flanders Informative

Thanks for a great season!
